Pete Kilkenny achieved national recognition with his one year Süddeutsche Kühe series, a total of 301 paintings on the front page of every issue of the german newspaper "Süddeutsche" from 19 October 2012 to 18 October 2013
Over the last 10 years he has painted hundreds of paintings on current newspapers of countries India, France, Switzerland, Italy, Russia, England, Bali, Austria, Finnland.

Works of Kilkenny were exhibited at the, "Menagerie", exhibition in the Würth Galerie in Schwäbisch Hall in 2013.
"Golden Bull", purchased privately by Marion Würth, could be seen hanging beside works from Joseph Beuys, Georg Baselitz, Pablo Picasso & other noteable artists.

An Exhibition together with the works of Friedrich Voltz at the request of the Voltz family heirs took place in the castle of Tittmoning in 2017 and was captured by Bayern Television.
