Earnestness is key

Whether repairing a car or baking a cake it is dedication that counts. Looking how to make things work better, that is Konstantin's passion.

He always wishes you to "work" better too, not to work as in labour, no! It's not primarily about function, it's about honesty, it's about not bullshitting around.

And so it is, that we at MoMA Lemon recognize Earnestness. It isn't about being right or wrong, it's about wanting to be the best that you can be, to be honest about the task at hand & to laugh along the way.

He see's people like I do, wasting their young years and missing the fire within themselves.

He is an atom bomb, wishing to wake you up to your own potential. This to us is the greatest education.

Ken Robinson has always been a great spokesman for the destruction of our present schooling system, a great inspiration to me personally & this video of Sir Ken Robinson's legendary TED video says it all, & with the greatest of british humour:

That's what art is, creatively it makes us ask questions, and sometimes there's no escape, like having a gun to your head.

"Gun to head", is a reference to Damien Hirst's exhibition, "Freeze"

Konstantin took my MoMA Lemon Peugeot Boxer to work for a few days so he could repair it in his lunch break. He simply has a talent for finding solutions.

Insider:

"Schrittgeschwindigkeit", is a word that Konstantin likes to shout out at the top of his voice, to people who race on their bikes through the most beautiful pedestrian street in Burghausen, where MoMA Lemon Gallery happens to be.

Not for arts sake as much as to respect the tranquility & joy that many people share in den Grüben.

Sometimes we have to shout & scream to be heard, it's what creative people do when they feel ignored or misunderstood, while the politicians & mayors hiss in the fog.

Incidentally, there's one particular mayor who also races through the Grüben on his bike, certainly faster than walking pace.

Whatever
